A Peek At Our Week: Sept. 24-28

In Nature this week Wendy taught us about sunflowers

We found the tallest one from our garden and worked hard to pull it out of the ground

Sean led the crew of helpers until the sunflower was completely out of the garden

Elizabeth examined the flower
We found out that sunflower leaves work great as umbrellas!

Another Nature group got to make a scarecrow

They found the perfect pumpkin to use for a head

The finished product: could they be more excited?!

One day we went looking for Josie and Jennie (burros). We found them playing in our fort!

Merry and a few others can already do the monkey bars! We're enjoying the practice while the weather is still warm.

On Friday we celebrated Charlie's birthday with his mom and dad

Nancy did a fun apple taste testing project with the kids

Addie liked red the best

Max liked yellow

On Friday we helped Seth pick apples for our cider press
